Last night was the first time that I set up both of our cameras to capture the aurora. The D600 was used for this time lapse, and the D810 for stills. I used the 24-70 2.8G lens for the stills and the next widest option that I had to work with for the time lapse was only a 50mm 1.8G prime. Wider is better IMO so it will be nice to have a couple of wide lenses to work with in the future. I shouldve tilted the cam down more for the first segment, but at -6 degrees, I forgot to review the first couple images while trying to keep my hands in my gloves, lol. (Dont forget to watch in HD!)
