Last night we had a rider go down on the southfork. He missed a corner due to the sun in his eyes as it was setting. He is luckily going to be ok. Looks like 7-8 fractured ribs and a dislocated ankle. Hopefully out of the hospital on monday.Had he not been wearing his helmet and all the rest of his gear he would be in for worse condition. Plus it helps that at 73 he is tough as can be at any age. It could have been any of us due to the conditions. I messed the same corner up. Lesson was learned. Try to not ride so far looking straight at a setting sun. If anyone has an easy lift style chair we could use for a couple weeks it would be appreciated and we will give you a few bucks.
