Last night we returned to The Station Hotel to help the lovely Katie celebrate her Hen Night. Even before we had started the vigils, one of our team members who was down the cellar, heard a female voice saying Help. Not usually one to scare easily, our team member appeared from out of the cellar looking rather white! The vigils werent the most active weve experienced, however, one group certainly seemed to attract the spirits more than the others. During a vigil in the cellar, another member of our staff heard a shuffling sound on the floor, right next to her and the temperature dropped quite significantly. This vigil saw very strong K2 and EMF meter readings in one area of the cellar. These readings coincided with some movement on the Ouija board which was interesting. While the meters were spiking, several people also heard taps and bangs in the room. The spirit contacted in the cellar gave the name of William. He claimed that he was killed in an accident with a horse. He seemed to take a liking to one guest in particular, playing with her earrings, blowing in her face etc. In the bedrooms, cold spots were felt in room 213 and the dowsing rods seemed to react to our questions. One of our guests also reported suddenly having very hot cheeks. A couple of guests felt that the area around the window was particularly uncomfortable and they also reported being touched. 217 was very quiet although one guest did claim to have seen twinkling golden lights in the mirror. All of the above and the odd unexplained noise during the entire night, left us feeling reasonably happy with our results and although some people experienced very little, we certainly hope that all of the ladies enjoyed themselves!
