Last night we went to see Lucy. Lucy is a film about a woman who can access 100% of her brain. Rich and I have been really looking forward to seeing it... Weeeellll :-/ it was a good example of how it is impossible to comprehend or imagine what might happen if we could access 100% of our brains! As her % went up the more obscure and ridiculous it got! As an imaginative, action film about evolution its sadly poor, no adrenalin kicked off in us at all, no edge of seat stuff - apart from when Morgan Freeman was lecturing on evolution. Now if only that had of lasted all the film, I would have been on the edge of my seat throughout. I got bored with the same predictable dead pan face on Scarlet Johhanson, and I couldnt believe that she could make people hit the floor or ceiling with one look, but couldnt tell her enemy was in the car next to her! I got frustrated that she was asking a human with only 10% brain capacity what she should do with her knowledge! Listened to him and just passed it on to scientists! I thought to myself, God if that was me I would be making sure everyone had a house, access to water and solar power and a vegetable patch as well as bring an end to domination, control, wars, etc.... But then who knows? If we could access 100% of our brains maybe the world would look very different.
