Last night, we were startled by a terrible scream from the street below our unit. A woman had accidentally let go of her dogs leash and the dog ran into the street. It was struck by a car and killed. She was devastated, wailing in the street, in full veiw of a community of people. It was horrible. This moved me for several reasons, but ultimately it made me very thankful for the love of the people and things I care about. Life flashes by, unrelenting and unforgiving. We need to hold on tight to the things that matter to us and be thankful. This is from another page. Its powerful. ~Just Some Guy~~~
