Last night when I fed the cats that live outside my building, Brutus wasnt there. But since it is cold now I hoped he was huddled in a warm place. I know someday he will not be there, and I wont ever see his once skinny but now chubby little body and his crunched ears again. Its true for all my little outside friends. But when I went to lunch today there he was!!!! (he waits with assorted others for special treats from the lunches at the sen. cen.) after lunch I gave them some treats and picked Brutus up and put some eye wash in his goopy eye, and wiped it out and hugged his fat old body till he growled low at me and put his unblessed self (he needs BLESSED!) down and gave thanks that today wasnt the day I would never see him again.
