Last night when we were trapping the Grianog gang, we were packed up and ready to go when we got a visitor. A white and black male arrived around the building and made a bee line for us. We could tell immediately that he was a friendly boy and that he hadn’t seen food in quite a long time (picture to follow shortly). This young man is a very chatty and head bops the ground when he sees you, he was literally starving and is quite thin but has beautiful big green eyes so we named him Felix after the cat in the ad. Felix is a tall long cat and will be stunning when he’s put on some weight and is healthy again. We think he may have been dumped there or else, being a full male, he wandered too far and got lost. He’s at Andrea’s today for a health check and to be neutered. So here’s the problem, we don’t have anywhere for him to go, the poor guy needs a home (an outdoor home is fine) where he’ll have someone to chat to, shelter and good food. We really don’t want to put him back there as it is not a safe venue for any cat…especially a friendly one. He will end up either starving or as bait for a dog (this has happened in this location previously). So we’re now issuing an URGENT URGENT URGENT appeal for a home for Felix and we will have more details about him once he’s been checked by Andrea. All homes are subject to homecheck.
