Last nights Nogales Night Out was a huge success. This free annual event is a great way to raise awareness for children, parents, and all citizens about the services provided by our local public safety agencies. The children climbed in patrol vehicles, hummers, and quads. They watched a live K-9 demonstration, got fingerprint cards, tried on vests and equipment, and received bicycle helmets. The children and their parents also enjoyed hot dogs and other refreshments. Thank you to the Nogales Fire Department, Knights of Pythias, U.S. Customs, HIDTA ICE Task Force, Department of Public Safety, Nogales Police Department, Border Patrol, and Sheriffs Office for your participation. This event would not be successful without their help and its greatly appreciated. I look forward to next years event.
