Last nights concert was amazing. I havent been listening to Sarah - TopicsExpress

Last nights concert was amazing. I havent been listening to Sarah often because I dont feel strong enough emotionally to connect with her lyrics right now. I can feel, see, taste, hear and smell the joy, but also very deep sorrow when I listen to her music. I can relate to every song and most of them bring me to a time in my life...often the times in my life that were spent on my knees pleading with God. Last night was even more powerful than expected. World on Fire is one of the most amazing songs to hear live in concert. Sarah always talks about each of us doing our part to make the world better before she starts playing this song. As I sat with a few of my forever friends, my thoughts were filled with how hard and cruel life can be. Loss and struggle can so easily consume your thoughts and make it nearly impossible to focus on your blessings. I sat with the same forever friends at Sarah concerts shortly after my dad died. They reached over for to grab my hand then when I needed them most and I reached over for theirs now. A few rows ahead of us there was a young mother that recently lost her husband, a firefighter on duty. My heart ached for her. Her story is now what I will think of when I here World on Fire...and I will always bring more than I can handle for as long as I am granted. Because EVERY.KIND.GESTURE. *No matter how big or small* leads to a better world. Love me some Sarah. Sorry for the book, guess I should have blogged;) The worlds on fire and Its more than I can handle Ill tap into the water Try and bring my share I try to bring more More than I can handle Bring it to the table Bring what I am able
