Last nights party at the J5 Ranch marked the official end of this amazing year. We started out on December 27, 2013 with two goals in mind....A World Championship for Karrigan in the 15,000 Amateur and a World Championship for me in the 50,000 Amateur. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Its been an amazing year, filled with many ups and downs and with far too many memories to put in a facebook post. The feeling of accomplishment is amazing, but the journey was the real prize and will never be forgotten. The friends met along the way are forever friends and the memories are priceless. None of this would have been possible without the efforts of a wonderful team who worked both on the road with us and at home. Im thankful for Mike, who tirelessly drove, hauled feed and hay, saddled horses, hauled muck buckets, and cheered for us, while seeking auction consignments on the road! Thank you family and friends who kept the home fires burning and picked up my slack while we followed this dream. Thank you to our help on the road...Bill Pierce, Keith Deaville, Josh Dozier, Chris Howell, Al Dunning, Zeke Entz, Casey Crouch Cutting Horses, Mark Mills, Mark Coie, Nathan Anderson, Chubby Turner, Mike McCartey, and many others who stepped in when needed. We couldnt be here without you! Very special thanks to the horses who brought us here. Cat, Spoon, Fancy, and WR, you all have hearts bigger than Texas. We love each of you!
