Last of my laundry scrubbing done, tables are repainted, supplies and our stuff covered in plastic, bags are packed. Just have my 30 cordoba haircut left - Annabell N Arturo Coronado, I could choose from toes or hair and I chose hair! Nathan is heading back to a local park where he has befriended several of the drunks there. He told me that he always greets them, visits and theyre sitting around to hear what he has to say. A local, how do I say this...easy lady... is also a drunk and had shared that she was sick. She was gone for 8 days and reappeared yesterday. Had been in the hospital but theyre not sure whats wrong. Nathan said her eyes were yellow and her stomach was swollen and he thinks its her liver. She showed him the doctors report and meds needed. He walked her to the farmacia to purchase what he could. He worked fast this morning painting so he could go back one more time to sit and visit with the group. Our translator had pointed out a rehab spot to Roger (rent from his grandma) and told him he needed to go there. Roger told him...Nathan is my rehab. Now if we can get the 40 yr old to realize that GOD is his rehab... Nathan has been taking him to translate locally and just keeping him close by. Now if someone else would just wander in to support them emotionally until we get back. Nathan and I were talking, were so used to doing BIG events and this trip was a lot of little, local preachings and he was so blessed to be used that way.
