Last post before bed , but great article and reminds me that when bush threatened to invade Iraq the only nation I was proud of was France,who despite severe unpopularity stood their ground and said they would not help invade Iraq. I repeatedly said after the planes hit wth are we going to Iraq for? Sadam Hussein had nothing to do with this. Then my question was answered , hes attempting to finish what his father couldnt... And the public ate it up and even stopped buying french wine and cheese, even renaming freedom fries... My respect still holds with France in standing their ground and using their refined pallets by not eating up the bullshit like the rest of the world.
