Last summer, a homeless Veteran started coming to HH. He had lived on the streets for 5 years. A case manager built a trusting relationship with the neighbor by always going out of their way to greet the neighbor in the day room. When the neighbor was ready to take the next step, he reached out to this case manager. The case manager helped coordinate with other agencies to help this Veteran get into housing quickly. Now, this gentleman is housed! At HH, we meet people where they are and walk with them. Happy this Veteran is doing well!
