Last thursday night my cinematography mentor/teacher at CCSF told us that he encourages filmmakers to compose their own music rather than using other music or pop music. I sat there staring into space as I remembered my former life of composing music with my recording studio on Market St. I have spent the last several days listening to the music that inspired me to become a musician in the first place. It was a lot of Jazz, Classical, R&B and some Rock. I listened to a lot of Steely Dan and I even made everyone who was around me listen to old school jams from the 80s. There is only a matter of time before I am on a keyboard again composing music. I can feel it. My love for music inspired me so much that my attitude was slightly different at my last photoshoot.
