Last time I talked about how to get rid of Field Hazards with the use of Defog Now lets talk about how to prevent players from freely using Defog 1.Using a Pokemon with Defiant or Competitive OR 2.Taunt Now the first option is using a Pokemon with Defiant or Competitive who gain a boost in Atk or Special Atk when they switch in to it Viable Pokemon with this ability: Bisharp is one of the most popular user of the defiant ability as it can get a good stand in with Lati@s pair.And knock off is great this gen as well as Iron head for the Fairies. Here are is my favorite set in my opinion Bisharp @ BlackGlasses/Life Orb/Lum Berry Ability: Defiant EVs: 252 Atk / 52 SpD / 204 Spe Adamant/Jolly Nature - Knock Off - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Pursuit/Sword Dance The other user of defiant in OU is Thundurus who has a much more favorable matchup against Skarmory,Zapdos and Mandibuzz But can handle Lati@s quite as well. This is my favorite Thundurus Defiant Sets. Thundurus @ Life Orb Ability: Defiant EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe Naive Nature - Thunderbolt - Knock Off - Superpower - Hidden Power Ice This set can break Lati@s with Knock Off,Superpower hits Chansey and Tyranitar and Heatran,Thunderbolt is STAB while HP Ice hits ground types like Garchomp or Lando-T It is much faster then Bisharp but cant hit as hard. One more Pokemon with that ability which is rarely seen and used is Milotic who is possibly the best user of Competitive Milotic @ Life Orb Ability: Competitive EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD Modest Nature - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam - Hidden Power [Grass] - Recover It has alot more bulk then Thundurus and Bisharp but cant hit nearly as hard.However it has quite a neutral standing with most of the Defog user except zapdos.I am not 100% it works I tried it for a while didnt quite work for but who knows it might work in your team.
