Last time we reviewed the league, Tartan Army and Yayas cake were number 1&2. Today, 6 Gameweeks have passed, they exchanged places few times, and they still lead the league with 29 pts to separate them. Elsewhere however, nothing has stayed the same. It hasnt always been fruitful for the leading teams, for example, Yayas entire team didnt even register a goal in GW13. Nor has it always been a rainbow 🌈 ride for the top managers as both took - 12 pts hit in the past 3 weeks in order to cope with an ugly run of injuries and suspensions. Successful managers know when a step backward is needed to stay at the summit, and this league leaders are no different. Were almost half way into the season and the 2 teams look poised to finish the season separated from the rest of the league. Elsewhere, Crimson Devils, managed by the - my not so humbled self, broke into 3rd place after utilizing leagues point leader Augero. Goonerific came in 4th employing the same tactics. EshinGunners the only other team to stay in top 5 but dropped to 5th. As usual, EshinGunners continue to go unconventional yet play impressively as he is the only top 5 manger without Augero. No love lost for Garrudah or ForeverBlue who are temporarily out of the top5 but with a very small margin and could get into the competition at anytime
