Last week I Netflixed, The History of the Eagles Parts I and II. What an enlightening documentary regarding the personalities, music and the business of music then and today. Arguably the most successful group ever in the history of Rock and Roll, it was interesting to learn more about their journeys, both as a group and individually. Joe Walsh has always been one of my favorites in the group and I guess he showed me why during the documentary. He is humble and a team player. It is interesting to me how the voices of the Eagles meld together in harmony. There is really only one, in my opinion, true lead singer in the group. Don Henley. As Glenn Fry said in the documentary, he started to give up lead vocals more regularly because, who has a Don Henley voice? Anyway, back to Joe Walsh. Thought I would post one of his solo efforts, this time recorded during a Live At Daryls House performance. Joes cool, in a strange kind of way....and I love him!! https://youtube/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=efB3aQkZS1g
