Last week I had the great pleasure of giving workshops to Shawn Silver s wonderful dancers here in Dublin. Ireland. What a joy this was for me, aided by my assistant - world Irish Dancing champion and Riverdancer, Mr. Sean OBrien.. The enthusiasm and passion that these young dancers showed knows no bounds! Thanks to their dancing teacher Shawn Silver, who has done tremendous work with them - performing in Shows & Festivals, TV and Charity events throughout Newfoundland & Labrador, they are amazing! Shawn Silver is without doubt, a very gifted and talented teacher. Shawn has been travelling to Ireland to take master classes over the past 10 years. He has progressed to become one of the finest exponents of our wonderful culture that is Irish Dancing. Shawn is without any doubt, a powerful Ambassador for his Country and Im so proud of all his achievements, both at home and abroad. He is well loved by all who have had the privilege to meet him. This past week has been such an exciting week for his troupe and Shawn and without question- Me! Ive loved working alongside Shawn, developing his skills and continuing to create intricate & choreographed steps, movements, confidence building in his pupils and giving great joy in return Thank you Shawn for giving me thus pleasure of coaching you further in your career in Irish Dancing in Newfoundland & Labrador.
