Last week I hosted over 60 year 11 students from around the electorate at the 5th annual Macquarie Youth Leadership Forum, a three day live in program for student leaders. Students from Wycliffe Christian School, Winmalee High School, Colo High School, Richmond High School, Hawkesbury High School and Bede Polding College attended. I believe that investing in the next generation of leaders is something that we cannot do enough of. These students are our future and will possibly one day be the next leaders of business, government and the arts. As part of the forum students spent the Saturday afternoon at Bligh Park Community Centre, completing a Community Service Project. Special thank you to John W. Hogan Solicitors in Springwood, Mountain High Pies in Wentworth Falls, Bendigo Bank in North Richmond and Rachael Goldsworthy Real Estate who each sponsored students to attend the forum. I am very grateful for these businesses that see the value in investing in the next generation of leaders.
