Last week I posted about the mosquito problem at Home Depot. I subsequently went online and sent a message through their website about the issue. As you would expect, I received an automated response after submitting. What I didnt expect was that a real person sent me an email thereafter letting me know that a manager from the Maui Home Depot would contact me. Honestly, I was doubtful that someone would contact me. On Friday, a Maui manager contacted me and apologized for the mosquito problem. He said theyve been trying to address it for a while but everything theyve tried hasnt helped. He said that they had elevated the issue and were seeking help from higher ups. I was appreciative that he took the time to call me and explained my concern for his employees and the public. A few minutes after that call, I received a call from their corporate office following up. Now thats customer service! I was pleasantly surprised by the follow through and the time they took to address this issue. Just thought I would share...
