Last week I walked into a house not realising who was living in there. The house had puddles of urine in every room with flys hovering around, spiders nests, mould, dirt, all windows and curtains closed. The smell of the house was so potent I gaged on the fumes. There were dirty clothes shoved in a broken wardrobe the bedsheets were black and urine stained. In that house were three beautiful babies covered in dirt so used to these poor conditions and still running around laughing. The mother thought she was cleaver by trying to hide bottles of rotting milk from me and pretending to me she was having a bath. Went back their today to find two wonderful social workers in there ordering them to clean up and having private talks with the children. Funnily enough the mother found it funny when I Kindly said that there is wee on the floor and not good for the babies to be around. Now whos having the last laugh?? ha ha. I hope them kids get taken off her worst case of neglect Ive seen.
