Last week, MWS Founder and Co-Founder, Kathryn Skaggs and Angela - TopicsExpress

Last week, MWS Founder and Co-Founder, Kathryn Skaggs and Angela Fallentine had the opportunity to meet in a video conference with Jessica Moody, a Spokeswoman with the Public Affairs Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her colleague, Lauren Winder. During the conference call, they had the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns on many topics that concern LDS women globally. Today, through the magic of technology, nearly the entire Mormon Women Stand admin team, met with these inspired women from Church Public Affairs via a delightful video conference which lasted approximately 90 minutes! As you can imagine, gathering all of these bold women in one meeting to discuss women’s issues was a treasured experience for everyone who participated. In this weeks meeting, Teresa Elwood, also with Public Affairs, joined with us. But it got better… during the middle of the video conference, Michael Otterson, Managing Director of Public Affairs for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, took the time to sit in on part of the conversation. Following the conference, Jessica expressed that Brother Otterson “wanted to show support for all [MWS] is doing and they felt it! MWS Admin team: Joyce Brinton Anderson, Terrie Lynn Bittner, Emily Barker Farrer, Jane Furey, Susan Porter, Montserrat Ventura Wadsworth, Katy Bikman White, Laurie Janes White, Jelaire Richardson, Diane Robertson, Jan DeHoyos Tolman . (Pam Skaggs Peebles was with her son who had his wisdom teeth pulled today — she was greatly missed!) #MormonWomenStand
