Last week, SJ Global Encounter 2014 continued when a group of students went to Ecuador with teachers Carlton Galligan and Michael Curran. The group spent time with local after school programs in the area of Durán, Ecuador, visited Damien House - a free hospital for patients with Hansens disease - and explored the region while staying at the Rostro de Cristo community (which, much like Saint Johns today, is a Catholic lay community committed to spirituality, simplicity, community, service, and hospitality).
