Last week a local veteran at an event to support Heroes on the Water shared his insight on his acts of heroism. Similar to the veterans referenced in this presentation (which is an outstanding perspective on leadership), he said he performed heroic acts because his fellow soldiers would do the same for him. But, he went on to say that the Scouts that I grew up with would have reacted the same way. I think he is right, but we were never put to the test. Brian Clayton was an Eagle Scout in Troop 11 in Milltown, NJ. He is a major part of my reason for being a Scout. Brian was one of those heroes, he was a medic in Viet Nam and was killed while helping others. Do your friends, coworkers, or employees have your back? Do you have theirs? What kind of leader are you? https://youtube/watch?v=lmyZMtPVodo
