Last week my dear friend Smitty Smith posted an update on Facebook regarding some things he was going to make as a glass artist, looking for suggestions. I jokingly said, How about making your pal a guitar slide ! Now we had talked about this several times in Hawaii, where we were both living and hanging out drinking some brews and enjoying all the Hawaiian kine whatevas. I was blown away when they arrived today; not 1 but 4 badass glass slides, all customized with my name and initials. Mindblowingly , this was Smittys first attempt at making a slide but they have all turned out perfectly! I tried them all out and not only do they fit perfectly but sound great. I will post a few vids in the next couple days. Suffice to say I have a new line of slides to endorse, with total thumbs up love. Smitty, youre an incredible artist and amazing dude. Mahalo nui loa!
