Last week one of my students was killed in a hit and run. I havent posted about it (or anything else for that matter) simply because I just feel empty. One of the challenges of being an educator is dealing with any situation, no matter how unprepared you feel for it. Even though this isnt the first student I have lost to tragedy, it doest get any easier. Please think a kind thought or say a prayer for me, as well as all of those impacted by this.
