Last week, the US Army Corps of Engineers released the final Environmental Impact Statement on the Haile Gold Mine in southern Lancaster County. CVSC has been involved in this process, and we were among the many conservation groups that pressed for the Environmental Impact Statement. We are working closely with our colleagues at Southern Environmental Law Center, Coastal Conservation League, and other groups in reviewing the final Environmental Impact Statement.
