Last week there was a post about Town of Flower Mound employees working in the cold, it was a great compliment to my husband Randal and his crew. He has worked for the water Department for over 25 years, he was very appreciative of the compliments by the towns residents, sometimes when people dont have water because of main breaks or other reasons that are out of his control the comments arent always so pleasant and what people need to remember is it isnt their fault, my husband has worked 48 hrs straight before just to ensure that the job is completed, he will be on call again this Thanksgiving so if there are any water emergencies he will be working them, I am not complaining, its become almost the norm in our house. But I wanted to share something that happened today. I just got home from work and he asked if I was on Facebook today, I told him no, he had the strangest grin on his face, he proceeded to tell me that he was on the work site today and a car pulled up a young girl maybe early 20s jumped out ran up to him gave him a kiss on the cheek and told him Happy Thanksgiving she ran back and got in the car and left. Well that was too funny!! He thought someone might have posted it on this page and he thought he would get in trouble by me!!! It made his day!! So thank you young lady, you made my day as well as his!!! Happy Thanksgiving All!!
