Last week this fellow (Bradypus Variegates) was found sneaking around the Sanctuary grounds, undoubtedly in search of companions! Our resident researcher quickly coaxed him down the tree and within a day he was sporting a new tracking backpack featuring a Daily Diary data logger, VHF transmitter and an automatic drop-off mechanism. He was released the following afternoon in one of our majestic trees on the sanctuarys visitor trail. We will monitor his movements as a part of our ongoing research program, oh and BTW, we named him Casanova! slothsanctuary
