Last week, we asked fans to submit questions pertaining to card-making or life in the CardMaker office. There were so many great responses. Were answering a few today and will include more questions and answers in the future! ● Where is Berne, IN? Berne is a small town located in northeast Indiana near Fort Wayne. ● On submissions, is it better to submit early or closer to the deadline, or does it even matter? It doesnt matter. Regardless of when they are received, all submissions are put into the next editorial review. Once the review is held, emails are sent out to let designers know if their submission was accepted or not. I get confused as to what to buy that can be used on various projects. Can you suggest some points to keep in mind when buying stamps? The most important thing to consider is what type(s) of cards you make the most of and look for images that would work best for those themes such as birthday, friendship or thank you. Also, stamp sets that include basic shapes such as circles, lines, borders, etc. are always great to have on hand as those images can be used in multiple ways and for any occasion. ● Can you use gelatos to make cards without using water and how does it turn out? Gelatos are so much fun and can be blended with or without water. They work great on paper!
