Last weekend, Faculty student Jack Harrison become part of cycling history when he took part in Stage 2 of the Grand Depart of the Tour de France. 17-year-old Jack was approached by British Cycling to ride in a group of 8 under 18-year-olds in the publicity caravan two hours ahead of the main peleton of competitors. It was a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity made even better by the fact that Jack won the final 500 metre sprint finish to cross the line first. Heres the video to prove it.
