Last weekend, I had the opportunity to be a part of what many consider to be the most prestigious breaking competition in the world. I went in with the intention of highlighting the way I like to do things. I wanted to preserve my integrity as a dancer and not conform to become a Bc one Bboy just to be a part of the competition. And the result was coming out of the competition happy that I did what I love, presenting myself the way I wanted to be presented. Whether or not you were there or watching it now, whether it made you laugh, cry, smile or inspired. If I evoked any type of emotion from you with my performance then I did my job this past weekend.
