Last year I took my (VERY hesitant) Mom to an Engine 2 event. She had been sick for several years with (T2) diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The doctors kept telling her that she wasnt going to live much longer. Today, a little less than a year later my Mom no longer takes ANY medications!! Shes lost weight (48 pounds she wanted me to tell you), she can play with my kids, she loves eating plant-strong, now when we go to Grammys house there are baked potatoes, big salads, fruit ice-cream. This Mothers Day I could not be more happy because I have my Mom, there is just no price you can put on that. I would do it 10 times over if it meant having my Mom healthy and happier.
