Last year about this time, I was in for my first of four surgeries. They had to pack my leg with antibiotic beads. Later Id go in for two more to put my legs back together and one to put my nose back in the general area of my face where it was before the wreck. My then GF didnt leave my side but for the surgeries and the end of visiting hours. She never had to sit through a full surgery alone, thanks to kind souls who came to sit with her. Thank you! My GF married me even before I could fully walk again, and shes made me the happiest man in the world. Its been a rough year for so many reasons, but here we are, almost back to normal. There are things like running half marathons or even 5ks that I may never do again, but Ive survived. And I will not give up the hope that one day I may run again, to be alive, and not in a wheel chair was a lot to even hope for just last jan 10. Thank you Koukla, for never giving up on me, Ill love you forever!!
