Last year my MBP started having the usual visual banding issues after which it stopped working. The Authorized service centers here quoted me $700 for a logicboard repair / exchange with 90 days working warranty. I thought the cost doesnt justify the warranty so I opted out of MBP. I want a reasonable solution for video editing now. I edit HD videos with quite a bit of layers and transitions. Heard Asus has some reasonable laptop solutions for video editing. Can you recommend me any to replace my MBP? I have finally decided to step out of my comfort zone from FCP to Adobe Premier Pro. Which GPU supports Premiere Pro?
