Last year, on 20th January around this time, i was sitting at the Waiting hall of the Tripura Public Service Commission waiting for my turn to enter the interview room with tension wondering what questions they will ask me. I did not even remember it was my birthday. When i enter the interview room, Madam Chairperson was looking at some of my documents (i supposed) and wish me a Happy Birthday, then i realized it was my Birthday and replied that i hope it would be my Lucky Day. The interview lasted for 27 minutes, and today im here. Here are some of the questions that they asked me. 1. What is Sociology. 2. Why is Sociology important for social Workers. 3.What are the traits involved in Social Reforms. 4. What do you know about symbolic interactionism. 5. What is ethnocentric Perspective of Development 6. What is Sting Journalism. 7. Why do you want to be a Civil Service Officer. 8. What is the difference between Bureaucrat and Civil Servant 9.Since you have already cleared NET, why did you decided for this and not for Assistant Professor.. 10. Do you know where is Golden Triangle Market in Jampui Hill. 11.What is the main source of income in Jampui Hill. 12. If you are to grow coffee or aracenut, which one will you choose and why. 13.What is the Train track presently used in Tripura. and in what type of track it will be changed. 14.What belongs to you but others uses it more than you. 15.If you become TCS Officer, how would you deal with misbehaving staffs of your office and what your suggestion for further improvement of the work cullture of your staffs.
