Last year when I called for the resignation of the Inspector General of Police, I was hated by many short sighted Sierra Leoneans.But my reason was, if the Sierra Leone Police can fire 2 shots of tear gas at around 1:00Am directly on defenseless civilians at stand 7 of the National Stadium in Freetown during the National Copywrite Committees show and in the presence of the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Vice President, First Lady, Wife of Vice President, Senior Ministers, National Youth Commissioner, and even the Inspector General of Police it means our lives and even the President was not secured as that was elections period. Reason for the tear gas the Inspector General of Police told us in a meeting held at the Political Parties Registration Commission that according to information, we learnt that the police fired the tear because they threw urine on him ... but the police is now under quarterdeck Now, Mohamed Bangura a politician once referred to by Joe Kallon of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party as a political ventriloquist is calling for the resignation of the Inspector General of Police because of police unprofessional conducts and he is been heavily supported by many Sierra Leoneans. With all of these it means I think 1 (one) year ahead of average Sierra Leone!!!
