Lastly was our old Mom to SCOUT JUNE: She was placed at approx. 40 years old. some front teeth only, blind in one eye cherry eye in the other, Cushings with rotation of both coffin bones. The advice given to us was to not try to place a little horse who is at this stage of her life, where she could go downhill at any time. It was felt that it would not be fair to anyone adopting her...knowing that her time will be short. We all agreed, but should there be someone out there who would be ok loving a little mare until the end of her days, that would be wonderful. But as it stands now we will keep her comfortable with us until she tells us otherwise.
