Late each night as Ethan tries to fall asleep, he requests for his dad to read to him about Heaven. We are taking our son as far as we can into eternity and it is just so immensely painful. Ethan is handling all of this such grace and courage. He of course is burdened with sorrow and intensive grief, but like the amazing boy he has always been, he is determined to enjoy every second of every day he has left. He looks forward to his siblings coming home from school every day and is so tender with them. His buddies arrive nightly and stay until Ethan is ready to go to bed.
