Late in the evening, about 11 pm two shy 21 year old kids had told me they wanted to do a set, but were too shy to press it. I gave the host the cut throat sign, stood behind them, and pointed at them. He stopped and went OH!. There were only a few of us left in the bar, but one of these kids played acoustic electric, and the other one sang BEAUTIFULLY the FULL version of this song. I jumped in on harmonica after the first verse and the host did harmony after the second. These kids were brought into the fold after hours basically, and that is where music really happens sometimes. It was so pretty we almost wept. That kids voice was awesome. GREAT song choice. They ended by singing Yellow Submarine in which everyone left sang along loudly and did all of the special effects, laughing and enjoying themselves. It was both a hoot and a hit.
