Late last night, I received word that my dad passed away. As some of you know, he had spent the last couple years recovering from a stroke that occurred late in 2011 yet despite our best hopes, he wasn’t able to recover. If you had the pleasure of meeting my dad, you know for a fact that he was a very sweet and caring person. He always wanted what was best for me and my brother and he did everything he could to make us happy. My dad was always a really positive dude and my hope is that through this trying time, I can be as optimistic as I usually am because I know that’s all he’d ever ask of me to be if he was still around. This Saturday my family’s hosting a viewing service for my dad and I forget what the address of the place is off the top of my head but if you’re interested in coming, feel free to contact me and I’ll provide the address/times and such. If you’re busy and stuff, it’s totally 100% understandable like I’m not gonna compel anyone to attend. (ps: it’s not usually like me to come to facebook or anything regarding personal matters but I feel like if we’re friends you were gonna find out eventually from me and this is just the easiest way for me to do it)
