Late this summer, well likely be driving cross-continent! There - TopicsExpress

Late this summer, well likely be driving cross-continent! There are five center-of-the-continent birds that are missing from my life list. Help me solve the riddle - how can we get at least two, even three-four, of these species in late July/early August? A few details - 1) I know it would be easier to see the chickens when they are lekking. Unfortunately, time and space do not always bend to my will. So please dont tell me I should do this in March instead, cause thats not whats possible this year. 2) The window of opportunity is likely the last week of July-first two weeks of August. 3) Id be happy to hear about birders willing to guide us to these birds - respond to me in a private message, too, if you are such a person. 4) We could probably spend five-six days to try to nab a sighting of one of these species each day, but any doubling-up or close proximity helps. 5) Here are the birds for the puzzle: A. Himalayan Snowcock B. Gunnison Sage Grouse C. Common Black-Hawk D. Dusky Grouse (likely the easiest one on the list) E. Lesser Prairie-Chicken Thanks friends!
