Lately, I have been experiencing severe fatigue that I know goes with my fibro. Being desperate to have some energy, I decided to change the way I eat. For the last 4 or 5 weeks, I have been avoiding gluten, sugar, artificial sweeteners, processed foods, fatty foods, processed fats (only consume coconut oil, EV olive oil, some butter). I have discovered a whole new world of amazing foods, and enjoying every minute. I snack on nuts, avocado, seeds, fruits, especially bananas (super food), smoothies w/frozen fruit, almond milk, and whey protein mix. I am never hungry and cant seem to get in all the health foods I want to each day. I am loving this. If there is something I really want, I have some. Now, for the kicker: I HAVE LOST 6 LBS ALREADY, just focusing on healthy eating and not on losing weight. I think the biggie for me is avoiding gluten. I do feel better. I just wanted to share, hoping others will want to try this. I have not been able to lose weight, no matter how hard I tried.
