Lately I have been getting flack for moving. WHAT ABOUT THE DOGS? or what are you going to do with the dogs?. And I so want to be sarcastic! Unlike many in the public and like most of my facebook friends, my dogs are more beloved than family. If my father passed away, I doubt I would bother going to the funeral. We are not a close family by any stretch of the imagination. But my dogs. Thats different. They eat first , get vet care first ( and I trust my vet way more than I trust any doctor.) I have spent countless nights up holding the paw of a recently dumped dog who is majorly depressed. Or one whos owner has died and the family did not want her. I have cleaned poop, vomit and pee until the cows came home and left again. And what did I get for it? I get unconditional love, trust and sometimes even obedience to a degree. So to answer all the questioners, Yes I am taking the dogs to either alabama or florida where it is rarely cold and never has ice storms. Someplace where they can have more room to play, a beach nearby and less time having to be kept indoor because of snow.
