Lately, I have been overwhelmed at the number of people with serious health issues and astounded at how my prayer list has grown. So many of my friends & family members are suffering with ailments of all kinds: various types & stages of cancer, unknown illnesses, horrible debilitating headaches, mental issues, birth defects, reactions to medications, surgeries, depression, viruses, and on and on. Sometimes I wonder whats going on in our world today. In the end, all I can do is lean on scripture and appeal to God, the ultimate Healer: Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” Acts 4:29-30 Oh, Lord, hear our prayers!!
