Lately I have been really frustrated with this brain fog problem. I now understand how my mom has felt dealing with her fibro fog and truly know that unless you experience it first hand you cant understand how it feels. We always had a system that I would finish moms sentences or remind her of what ever it was... but now that Im in the same boat... Trust me its not good to have a household where more than one person constantly hits that mental brick wall But on the other hand at times it can be humoring. Typical: - often conversations between mom and I abruptly end because we will suddenly forget what we were even talking about - I often throw away dishes - cant even do basic math... like find the pattern... I started crying... I must have the IQ of a 5 year old right now - Its a bad idea to send me to the store... (on the phone) Mom- go see if they have radishes.. Me- Mom.. what does a radish look like.. I seriously cannot picture them - Its a bad idea for me to drive.. my mind goes somewhere else every five seconds.. oh thats a pretty cloud, sign, bird, car... ugh.. stay focused.. I was suppose to return a movie... and Im suppose to turn right... five seconds later... turning left and heading home instead... I got home and was like oh shoot.. forget it. - If someone else is driving that is tired/ has brain fog etc... also not good.. I was with my friends mom and she was taking me home and we were in conversation and apparently turned the wrong way onto a state road... and were driving for like five minutes in the wrong direction... while Im struggling to get full sentences out apparently I suddenly blurt out where are we? She says Oh how did we.....I think we turned the wrong way Funny thing is I had no memory asking where we were going five seconds before... So Apparently I will think/ say something and not remember it five seconds later... my family has been telling me this for quite sometime though...
