Lately I have had to remove posts and block new members for posting puppies for sale or looking to stud their Pitbulls, so I thought Id take a moment to explain why we dont allow those type of posts and why we dont condone re-homing a dog that isnt spayed or neutered. We are Pitbull advocates and we are committed to fighting the social stigma and the negative press that Pitbulls have acquired over the years. We are committed to keeping dogs out of shelters and out of the hands of bad people and irresponsible owners. A huge part of the problem that keeps Pitbulls from changing their image is OVERPOPULATION, there are simply too many of them being bred and having accidental litters which is sad and keeps them filling the shelters and being exploited by bad people. Did you know dog fighters prefer intact dogs for fighting? They like to be able to breed their champions so they can make money, so fixing your dog could keep them from being stolen or used for fighting one day too. So I have said it once and Ill say it again WE DO NOT ALLOW INTACT ANIMALS TO BE RE-HOMED WITHOUT A SPAY & NEUTER CONTRACT ON THIS PAGE AND WE DO NOT ALLOW THE SALE OF PUPPIES OR DOGS FOR STUD. Please do not support breeders who post their dogs on Craigslist or Facebook, they are most likely backyard breeders who do nothing to help the plight of Pitbulls they only make it worse. Reputable breeders will always have adopters sign spay and neuter contracts and will always take their dogs back and dont want them to be re-homed or end up in shelters, if everyone breeding was a reputable breeder then the hundreds of thousands of Pitbulls being euthanized in shelters every year wouldnt exist.
