Lately I have heard the word ratchet used and got a bad feeling about this word. So I looked up the meaning "undesirable, course woman". Why would anyone call their child so a horrible name as "ratchet". I do not allow anyone around me to use this word nor do I allow profanity. So many so called parents use profanity around their children and get annoyed when they hear these words from them. Parents need to refrain from this practice and teach their children to respect themselves as well as others. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
