Lately, I was introduced to a level of understanding. You know, whereas we have problems, we often times respond No Problem when we are posed with the question, Is anything the matter OR what is the problem?? Yesterday, I was at a place in search of something. I got to see some one and told him, I was looking for somebody, he said the person wasnt around, he went further to ask me if there is any problem. To his surprise, I didnt hesitate to say NO!! He posed another question at me and this time, it was as if he knew what my problem was. When I affirmed, he chuckled and told me that I really have a bigger problem. My problem was that I couldnt say my problem! What a big problem that is!? I went on to discover that he was of more importance than the person I was actually looking for. Little wonder Fela said that the problem with Nigerians is that they pretend to be fine in face of difficulties, in other words, theyre suffering and smiling. An Igbo adage says that Onye kwu o mkpa ya, agbako aka mere ya ihe ona acho indeed if any one is in need, you need not die in silence. Speak up and say your mind, the person you may consider to be irrelevant may be your long expected answer. In the spirit of this understanding. I stand to ask you; my friends and family to tell me whatever is your problem, I may be of huge help: you wouldnt know. And am willing to help. First and foremost, may I disclose my own problem. I NEED MONEY! So, whats yours? #smiling...
