Lately Nuschka has been battling with flease bitting her making her itch like crazy..... Im not a big believer in chemical deterents and toxins as it can be bad for the skin drying it out..... so did a bit of research on natural remedies.... I discouvered that lemon juice is a huge deterent for flease as the citrusy scent is not one fleas enjoy. Ive applied this twice now on her so far and the end result is amazing.... I took a spray bottle filled with water added two tea spoons of lemon juice to it then sprayed her brushing the juice into the fur..... So far working..... she hasnt jumped up once rolling on the carpet or lawn trying to get rid of the flease. Besides it makes her fur smelll nice. So this can even be applied to little puppies as well as it wont damage/ burn the skin. And the best part about it does not cost you arm and leg.... a bottle of Spar Lemon Juice cost R10.00.
